Job summary

Gainwell Technologies is seeking a Senior Full-Stack Developer for a Hybrid role in Gold River, CA. You will build UI features with React, design data models, and create AWS-based integrations to enhance our contact center platform.

You will work on CTR data, agent events, and embedded agent tools, while mentoring teammates and upholding engineering standards. This role emphasizes AWS, CI/CD, and secure APIs in a Well-Architected environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong React experience (hooks, state management, component architecture).
• Hands-on experience with Amazon Connect (CTR data, contact flows, CCP customization).
• Strong SQL and relational database fundamentals.
• Experience with event-driven architectures and streaming data (Kinesis, EventBridge).
• Familiarity with IAM, VPC, CloudFormation/SAM, and AWS security best practices.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Git-based workflows.
• Preferred AWS Certifications: Developer Associate, Solutions Architect Associate/Professional.

Responsibilities

• Build secure, scalable APIs and microservices aligned with AWS Well‑Architected principles.
• Participate in architectural design sessions for contact center modernization.
• Mentor developers and enforce engineering standards.
• Troubleshoot complex issues across UI, API, AWS services, and data layer.
• Support production troubleshooting across the full AWS stack.

What You Should Expect In This Role

• HYBRID ROLE: Considering applicants who live within a 30+ mile radius of Gold River, California who are able work onsite 2 days per week
• Minimal Travel Required – Occasional travel opportunities (0-10%).
• Video cameras must be used during all interviews, as well as during the initial week of orientation

The pay range for this position is $81,900.00 - $117,000.00 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
