Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology or equivalent and 7–10 years of Java development experience.
• Strong hands-on Java development with production-grade applications.
• Expertise with Spring, Spring Boot, JPA, and Hibernate for backend/persistence.
• Experience with automated unit and integration tests (JUnit, Cucumber).
• Proficient Git-based collaboration including branching, PRs and reviews.
• Frontend experience with Angular and API integration (TypeScript/JS).
• Experience with microservices, CI/CD, DevSecOps, Docker, Azure and Terraform.
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum; ITIL and financial services domain is a plus.

To support our customer, an intergovernmental organization and international financial institution, we are looking for a:

Senior Full-stack Developer (Financial Applications)

TASKS:

• Gather and analyse business requirements;
• Design, develop, and maintain applications and microservices;
• Support existing solutions across multiple business divisions.;
• Perform testing activities, including unit, integration, system, and performance testing;
• Support UAT processes and obtain business sign-off;
• Manage releases, deployments, and change management activities;
• Produce and maintain functional, technical, and user documentation;
• Manage source code, configurations, and automated tests using Git;
• Monitor risks, handle ServiceNow change requests, and ensure audit compliance;
• Foster stakeholder relationships and deliver user training when required;

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology (or equivalent) and 7+ years (Senior) / 10+ years (Expert) of professional Java development.
• Strong hands-on experience with Java, including delivering applications to production environments.
• Expertise in Spring, Spring Boot, JPA, and Hibernate for backend and persistence layer development.
• Experience writing and maintaining automated unit and integration tests (e.g., JUnit, Cucumber).
• Proficiency with Git-based collaborative development, including branching, pull requests, and code reviews.
• Experience with SQL and relational databases, as well as XML, YAML, and JSON for application development and configuration.
• Practical experience with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Codex), including code generation, review, and testing.
• Strong Angular (TypeScript/JavaScript) frontend development experience, including API integration.
• Experience with microservices architectures, CI/CD pipelines, DevSecOps practices, Docker, cloud platforms (Azure), and Infrastructure-as-Code (e.g., Terraform).
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies; experience with Apache Camel, ITIL service management, technical documentation, and financial services environments is an asset.

Minimum level of qualification:

Bachelor’s degree in information technology, or equivalent (mandatory). The minimum 7-10 years of hands‑on professional Java development experience satisfies the experience alternative to a degree.
