Job summary

Objectway, based in Milan and supporting our SaaS division in Germany, seeks a full-time Applications Operations team member to ensure smooth SaaS environments and reliable daily processing. You will collaborate with core banking and client support to coordinate activities and resolve issues.

The role emphasizes IT operations experience, Linux/Windows server administration, SQL/Oracle, and automation skills, with a hybrid work model and a salary range of €35,000–€45,000.

Qualifications

• IT background through studies or equivalent practical IT/banking experience.
• Strong knowledge of Linux and Windows Server administration.
• Solid SQL experience with Oracle databases.
• 3+ years in IT operations, software delivery or application support.
• Experience with Shell scripting and basic programming/automation.
• Experience in IT infrastructure and SaaS environments.
• Familiarity with Jira and Confluence.
• Good problem-solving and customer-oriented mindset.
• Strong communication and teamwork with reliability.
• Good command of English.
• Willingness to work outside normal hours occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Manage and support SaaS environments based on OBS (Objectway Banking Suite) and interfaces to other systems.
• Monitor daily and end-of-day processing for reliability; assist with releases and deployments.
• Collaborate with core banking development, PM and client support to coordinate activities and resolve issues.
• Ensure compliance with SLAs and regulations; coordinate and perform testing when required.

• Manage and support SaaS environments based on OBS (Objectway Banking Suite), including the interfaces connecting OBS with other system
• Monitor daily and end-of-day processing to ensure smooth and reliable operations, while supporting software releases and deployments for customers.
• Work closely with the core banking development, project management and client support teams to coordinate activities and resolve issues.
• Contribute to ensuring compliance with agreed SLAs, customer requirements, internal standards and applicable regulations, as well as coordinating and performing testing activities when required.

Job descripiton:

• Manage and support SaaS environments based on OBS (Objectway Banking Suite), including the interfaces connecting OBS with other system

• Work closely with the core banking development, project management and client support teams to coordinate activities and resolve issues.
• Contribute to ensuring compliance with agreed SLAs, customer requirements, internal standards and applicable regulations, as well as coordinating and performing testing activities when required.

Required Skills:

• IT background through completed studies or equivalent practical experience in IT or banking environments.
• Good knowledge of Linux and Windows Server administration.
• Good knowledge of SQL and experience working with Oracle databases.
• Experience in IT operations (min 3 Y), software delivery and application support.
• Experience with Shell scripting and basic programming or automation skills.
• Experience working with IT infrastructure and SaaS environments, preferably in an operational or support role.
• Familiarity with service management tools such as Jira and Confluence.
• Good problem-solving skills and a customer-oriented approach.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills, with a structured and reliable way of working.
• Good knowledge of English.
• Willingness to occasionally work outside normal business hours or on weekends to complete special tasks.

• The salary range for this position is €35,000 – €45,000. This compensation complies with the pay transparency requirements set out in EU Directive 2023/970. The company reserves the right, at the end of the selection process, to make a salary offer higher than that indicated in this advertisement, in line with the candidate’s professional experience and technical and soft skills.
