IBM Consulting UK FutureNow is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer to join our cloud delivery team. You’ll contribute across the full SDLC, spanning front-end and back-end, with exposure to cloud-based environments and security awareness.

You’ll mentor junior engineers, own smaller workstreams, and help shape technical direction within a delivery-focused, hybrid work model in the UK.

Qualifications

Experience with at least one cloud platform (AWS, Azure or GCP) in enterprise or secure environments.
Experience using Git, CI/CD pipelines and modern deployment practices.
Strong problem-solving capability and ability to work through complex technical challenges.
Comfortable communicating technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Experience working within larger teams or delivery environments.

In this role, you'll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.

Your role and responsibilities

We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Developer to join our growing cloud delivery team, supporting the design, development, and deployment of applications within secure, high-impact environments.

This role sits within a consulting delivery model, working across client engagements where you will contribute hands‑on, support junior team members, and help shape the technical direction of solutions.

The Role

You will contribute across the full software development lifecycle, working on modern applications spanning both front‑end and back‑end technologies, with exposure to cloud-based environments.

Alongside hands‑on development, you will have the opportunity to take ownership of smaller workstreams, contribute to technical decisions, and support the development of less experienced engineers within the team.
