Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer for a fully remote role. You will design, develop and deploy scalable cloud-native applications across the stack using Node.js, Python, Go or Java, and modern front-end frameworks.

You will work with AWS/Azure/GCP, Docker/Kubernetes, and databases (SQL/NoSQL). The role requires 8+ years of experience, strong problem solving, and ability to collaborate in a distributed team; Upington, Northern Cape hub referenced for global operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of professional experience in full-stack development.
• Strong proficiency in both front-end and back-end development technologies.
• Extensive experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Expertise in at least one major front-end framework (React, Angular, Vue.js) and one back-end language (Node.js, Python, Go, Java).
• Experience with databases (SQL and NoSQL) and data modeling.
• Solid understanding of RESTful API design, microservices architecture, and asynchronous processing.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Proven ability to work effectively in a remote, distributed team environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
