Placements24 is seeking a proficient Full Stack Web Developer for a hybrid role in Gauteng. You will design, develop, and maintain web applications using a modern stack, collaborating across product and design teams to deliver scalable software.

The ideal candidate has strong front-end and back-end skills, experience with RESTful APIs, databases, and cloud platforms, and holds a degree in CS/Engineering or equivalent experience.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Full Stack Web Developer or similar role.
• Strong proficiency in front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and at least one modern JS framework (React, Angular, Vue.js).
• Solid experience with back-end languages (Python, Node.js, Java, Ruby) and frameworks (Django, Express.js, Spring).
• Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and/or NoSQL databases (MongoDB).
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• Understanding of version control systems like Git.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
