Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer to join our Digital Solutions team. You’ll build modern applications that integrate sensor/IoT data, geospatial tech, ML, and AI-powered agents to solve engineering and environmental challenges.

You’ll design frontend and backend, implement APIs, advance AI-enabled workflows, and work with DevOps to deploy production-ready systems. Travel is not required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree.
• 5 years of related experience.
• Experience with React and .NET stack.
• Geospatial tech with ESRI, PostGIS, and Mapbox.
• Knowledge of AI/agent-based systems and RAG.
• Experience with Kubernetes, CI/CD, and GCP is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable frontend and backend applications using modern frameworks.
• Build and optimize REST/GraphQL APIs for high performance systems.
• Contribute to AI-enabled features including agent-based workflows and RAG.
• Collaborate with DevOps for CI/CD deployment and production readiness.
• Mentor junior developers and drive engineering best practices.
