Job summary

Jefferies is seeking an experienced Full Stack Senior Java/Angular Developer to join our front-end engineering team within the investment banking and global markets divisions. This role focuses on designing, developing, and evolving large-scale Angular applications powering trading, analytics, and AI platforms.

You’ll collaborate with UI/UX designers, product owners, and back-end engineers to deliver modern, high-performance web apps using latest Angular, TypeScript, RxJS, and supporting tooling.

Qualifications

• 7+ years developing web apps with Angular (v19+ preferred).
• Strong TypeScript, RxJS, HTML5, CSS3 (Tailwind/SCSS acceptable).
• Knowledge of REST and GraphQL APIs, OAuth2/OIDC security.
• Experience with unit/integration tests (Jest, Playwright).
• Collaborative in agile, cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop modular Angular apps with performance and maintainability in mind.
• Collaborate with architects on structure, state, and integration patterns.
• Leverage RxJS, GraphQL, Angular CDK, and modern build tooling for scalable UI.
• Partner with UX teams to deliver accessible, data-rich interfaces for high-volume apps.
• Contribute to code reviews, architectural discussions, and technical design sessions.
• Adopt modern Angular ecosystem enhancements and design patterns.
• Mentor junior developers and promote learning and craftsmanship.
• Improve tooling, CI/CD pipelines, and frontend standards across the org.
