Venn is seeking experienced software engineers to own and deliver features across the stack, from backend Go services to frontend React web apps. You will design, implement, test, and ship high-quality software with robust CI/CD practices.

You will work across technologies including GraphQL, AWS, Kubernetes, and React Native, contributing to durable, scalable systems and continuous improvement in engineering practices.

Formación

• 7+ years of programming experience with Go, TypeScript and React.
• Proven experience developing web applications.
• Strong analytical thinking and systematic problem-solving skills.
• Experience with Test-Driven Development and/or CI/CD practices.

The Engineering Team- Venn’s software engineers develop the tech products that power Venn’s Neighborhood Engagement Platform. The products range from mobile apps, management tools for landlords, smart home solutions, marketplaces, and more.

The Technology

Our backend is powered by Go with a GraphQL api layer running on AWS with Kubernetes orchestration for scalable resilient services. We’ve built robust CI/CD pipelines on Jenkins that our engineers own and continuously optimize. Our mobile experience runs on React Native with Expo , while our web platform leverages React - our engineers ship features across the entire stack.

We’ve embraced durable workflows using Temporal for complex business processes, giving us unprecedented reliability and observability. Our data infrastructure spans the full spectrum - from real-time streaming with SNS and Kinesis , through S3 data lakes , to our Snowflake data warehouse - all architected and maintained by engineers who understand every component.

We’re at the forefront of AI integration , leveraging AWS Bedrock and the latest language models to build intelligent features that our users love. Our engineers don’t just consume AI APIs - they design, implement, and fine-tune AI-powered experiences.

About the role

We are looking for developers who understand and believe in software engineering best practices (design, clean code, testing, code reviews, automation, etc) and who are also aware of bad practices and anti-patterns.

• 7+ years of programming experience, using Golang, TypeScript, React


• Proven experience in developing web applications


• Strong analytical thinking, systematic problem-solving skills


• Have practiced Test-Driven Development and/or Continuous Integration & Delivery

The nice

• Experience in other languages and frameworks such as React native and GraphQL


• Worked on numerous projects in diverse business domains


• Experienced in cloud environment development
  
• Degree in computer science or equivalent


• Have contributed to, or managed an open-source project
