Job summary

Royper Royco LLC is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer for a fully remote role in the United States. You will design, develop, and scale Shopify applications, plugins, and integrations across frontend and backend systems.

You will collaborate with product, design, and QA teams, mentor colleagues, and contribute to the technical roadmap with modern tooling and robust architecture. Expect ownership, autonomy, and measurable impact in a global team.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of professional full-stack development experience.
• Solid database experience with MongoDB, PostgreSQL, MySQL, or comparable technologies.
• Practical experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and modern DevOps workflows.
• Strong understanding of API design, UX/UI principles, application security, and performance optimization.
• Knowledge of authentication and security mechanisms, including OAuth, JWT, and CORS.
• Shopify app development experience, including Polaris, webhooks, OAuth, and GraphQL APIs is a plus.
• Structured, independent, and solution-oriented problem solving.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
• Native-level German and good English proficiency.
• Entrepreneurial, results-driven mindset with initiative.

Responsibilities

• Architect, implement, and maintain scalable Shopify applications, plugins, and API integrations.
• Build full-stack solutions using React, Next.js, Node.js, Express, and TypeScript.
• Integrate third-party systems through REST and GraphQL APIs (ERP, payment, CRM, logistics).
• Ensure performance, security, maintainability, and scalability of applications.
• Develop responsive, accessible UI components and test suites (unit/integration/e2e).
• Develop CI/CD pipelines and DevOps workflows; write clear technical docs.
• Collaborate with product/design/QA to ship features from concept to launch.
• Mentor junior developers and promote engineering best practices.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and the technical roadmap.

Accountabilities:

As a Senior Full Stack Developer, you will take ownership of the architecture, implementation, and continuous improvement of scalable e-commerce software solutions. Your responsibilities will include:

• Planning, architecting, and developing Shopify applications, plugins, and API integrations.
• Building full-stack solutions using React, Next.js, Node.js, Express, and TypeScript.
• Integrating third-party systems, including ERP, payment, CRM, and logistics platforms, through REST and GraphQL APIs.
• Ensuring application performance, code quality, security, maintainability, and scalability.
• Developing responsive, accessible, and user-friendly interface components.
• Conducting code reviews, debugging, and implementing unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and contributing to efficient DevOps workflows.
• Producing clear technical documentation and maintaining reliable development processes.
• Collaborating with product, design, and quality assurance teams to develop products from concept to launch.
• Mentoring junior developers, sharing technical knowledge, and promoting engineering best practices.
• Contributing to architectural decisions and the evolution of the technical roadmap.

Requirements:
