Millennial Software is seeking a Senior Full Stack Software Developer to join our team supporting a Government customer. You’ll contribute to the design, development, and support of modern, data-driven applications and tools that enable mission-critical decisions.

This role offers growth across the full stack, with a focus on modern development processes, secure coding, and deployments in Kubernetes environments, on-site in Virginia.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering production software across frontend and backend.
• Proficient in at least one backend language and one frontend stack.
• Experience designing and consuming APIs (REST/GraphQL).
• Experience with Docker containers and Kubernetes-based deployments.
• Strong collaboration and communication within teams.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, and ship full-stack features across UI, services, and data layers.
• Collaborate with product and design to translate requirements into plans.
• Build and maintain scalable APIs and service integrations.
• Implement frontend components with usability and accessibility in mind.
• Deploy and maintain components in Kubernetes using Helm.
• Write automated tests and participate in code reviews.
• Monitor and resolve production issues and participate in on-call.
• Improve CI/CD pipelines and system observability.
• Document solutions and runbooks for long-term maintenance.
• Follow secure development practices to reduce risk.
