Job summary

Dev Technology Group is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer to design scalable web apps on AWS, spanning React frontends to cloud infrastructure. Hybrid work in Herndon, VA supported by quarterly in-person collaboration; candidate must be a U.S. citizen able to obtain TSA Public Trust.

You'll build APIs, IaC, and AI-assisted tooling, with a focus on performance, security, and cost efficiency across the stack.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 7+ years of full-stack software development experience.
• Strong experience with React and TypeScript.
• Backend development with Node.js or Python.
• Hands-on AWS design and development experience.
• Experience with PostgreSQL or relational databases.
• Experience with GitLab CI/CD and Agile methodologies.
• Docker and containerized environments (ECS/EKS).
• Experience with AWS CLI and SAM CLI.
• Knowledge of security best practices and AI-powered development.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable web applications using React, TypeScript, Node.js, and/or Python.
• Design and implement AWS cloud and serverless architectures with various services.
• Build and integrate APIs, microservices, and event-driven solutions.
• Develop Infrastructure as Code with CloudFormation, CDK, or Terraform.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and automated testing with GitLab.
• Use AI-powered tools for code generation, refactoring, testing, and development workflows.
• Collaborate with customers to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Contribute to technical, product, and release planning and manage risks.
• Write high-quality, scalable code with strong test coverage; optimize for performance and security.
