Job summary

Dev Technology Group is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer to design and build scalable software solutions on AWS. You’ll work across the stack—from React and backend services to cloud infrastructure—using modern, AI-assisted development practices.

The role requires 7+ years of full-stack experience with React, TypeScript, Node.js or Python, and strong AWS skills. This is a hybrid role based in Reston/Herndon, VA with quarterly in-person collaboration and TSA Public Trust clearance

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 7+ years of full-stack development experience.
• Strong experience with React and TypeScript.
• Backend development with Node.js or Python.
• Hands-on AWS design and development experience.
• Experience with PostgreSQL or relational databases.
• Familiarity with CI/CD, automated testing, and Agile practices.
• Experience with containerized environments (Docker, ECS/EKS).
• Knowledge of infrastructure as code (CloudFormation, CDK, Terraform).
• Experience with AI-powered/agentic development tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable web applications using React, TypeScript, Node.js, and/or Python.
• Design and implement AWS cloud and serverless architectures using EC2, Lambda, Step Functions, EventBridge, SQS, SNS, API Gateway, S3, Aurora PostgreSQL, and Bedrock.
• Build and integrate APIs, microservices, and event-driven solutions.
• Develop Infrastructure as Code using CloudFormation, CDK, or Terraform.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and automated testing using GitLab.
• Use AI-powered development tools for code generation, refactoring, testing, and specification-driven development.
• Collaborate with customers and stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Contribute to technical, product, and release planning and resolve complex system integration challenges.
• Write and maintain high-quality, scalable code with strong unit and integration test coverage.
• Optimize applications for performance, scalability, availability, security, and cost efficiency.
