Job summary

Dev Technology Group is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer (React, Node, AWS) in Herndon, VA, with a hybrid work model (quarterly in-person). The role covers frontend and backend work, cloud infrastructure, and AI-assisted development practices.

You will design scalable apps, implement serverless architectures, and collaborate with customers to refine requirements and deliver robust solutions. A federal-friendly environment and security clearance readiness are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 7+ years of full‑stack software development experience.
• Strong experience with React and TypeScript.
• Backend development with Node.js or Python.
• Hands-on AWS design and development experience.
• Experience with PostgreSQL or relational databases.
• Experience with GitLab, CI/CD, automated testing, and Agile methodologies.
• Experience with Docker and ECS/EKS.
• AWS CLI and SAM CLI knowledge.
• Understanding of software security and compliance.
• Experience using AI-powered/agentic development tools.
• Familiarity with prompt engineering and AI-assisted workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable web apps using React/TypeScript and Node.js or Python.
• Build AWS cloud/serverless architectures with EC2, Lambda, API Gateway, S3, Aurora, Bedrock.
• Create APIs, microservices, and event-driven solutions.
• Develop Infrastructure as Code with CloudFormation, CDK, or Terraform.
• Set up CI/CD pipelines and automated tests using GitLab.
• Leverage AI-assisted tools for code generation and testing.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Plan, document, and resolve complex integration challenges.
• Write high-quality, scalable code with strong test coverage.
• Optimize for performance, scalability, security, and cost.
