Job summary

Global Information Technology is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer focused on Data Engineering. The role is remote with Full Time employment.

You will design and implement data pipelines, APIs, and front-end components using Python, React, and modern cloud services. You will collaborate with clients to translate requirements into scalable data solutions, optimize ELT workflows, and ensure high-quality code through tests and CI/CD practices.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with Python, including API development and data processing.
• Strong SQL skills with complex queries, data modeling, and performance tuning.
• 2+ years of hands-on dbt experience, including models, testing and documentation.
• 3+ years of experience developing production apps using React.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3.
• Experience building REST APIs using FastAPI, Flask, or Django.
• Experience designing and maintaining ELT pipelines and data warehouses.
• Hands-on experience with Git, code reviews, automated testing, and CI/CD.
• Experience with at least one cloud platform: AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Strong communication skills and experience working directly with clients.
