Job summary

Dexcom is seeking a seasoned software engineer to join the Platform Service team, developing cloud-based APIs and websites. You will work in an Agile, cross-functional group to gather requirements, design scalable solutions, and deliver high-quality software for patient-focused CGM infrastructure.

The role emphasizes full-stack capabilities, modern authentication, and distributed systems with AWS/Azure/GCP experience, plus CI/CD and Kubernetes proficiency. Travel is minimal.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline
• Minimum 5–8 years related experience or Master’s degree and 2–5 years equivalent industry experience or a PhD and 0–2 years experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop cloud-based software systems (APIs and Websites) in an Agile team.
• Interface with product managers, tech support, and customers to understand needs and gather feedback.
• Design, implement, test, and deploy high quality software in a distributed environment.
• Participate in on-call rotations and optimize processes for quality and reliability.
