Job summary

Kellton is seeking an experienced Senior Full Stack AWS Developer for a remote-engagement with hybrid work in Charlotte, NC. The role combines backend Java/Spring Boot with frontend Angular and AWS cloud-native development across the stack in a hands-on capacity.

Responsibilities include building scalable microservices, REST/GraphQL APIs, serverless AWS apps, and maintaining code quality with CI/CD, testing, and best practices. 8+ years of experience and a CS-related degree are preferred.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of full-stack development experience.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Proven experience with Java, Spring Boot, Angular, AWS, and microservices; strong understanding of architecture and integration patterns.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack applications.
• Build backend services using Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture.
• Develop and integrate RESTful, GraphQL, or OData APIs.
• Build responsive UI components using Angular (or similar).
• Develop and deploy serverless and cloud-native applications on AWS.
• Write high-quality, testable code with unit and integration tests.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and ensure smooth deployments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define architecture and technical solutions.
• Troubleshoot production issues and ensure high availability and performance.
• Follow and enforce coding standards, design patterns, and best practices.
