Job summary

Highmark Health is seeking an experienced systems analyst and technical leader to instruct, direct, and review the work of a team of analysts and developers. The role involves defining complex system scope, devising procedures, and delivering detailed specifications for development, testing, and documentation.

You will guide the team through the full application lifecycle, coordinate with users, estimate work, and ensure on-time delivery while meeting quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or closely related field
• Master's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or closely related field
• 7 years of Application Development experience
• 3 years of Business Systems experience
• Excellent understanding of business domain and system development lifecycle

Responsibilities

• Provide the most complex architecture and technical designs including data mapping and process modeling to understand capability gaps or new requirements, especially when onboarding new clients.
• Oversee all aspects of the application life cycle, coordinating with user groups to identify solutions, implement changes, train users, and perform user-focused activities.
• Conduct complex analysis and provide estimates based on technical component changes; plan installation of enhancements and integrations; ensure adherence to schedule.
• Scan and debug complex technology to maintain optimum system performance.
• Provide guidance and education to lower level employees.
• Other duties as assigned or requested.
