Job summary
United States Digital Space LLC is seeking an experienced Application Architect to design, build, and modernize Group Insurance applications using cloud technologies. The role leads a team of engineers in an Agile onshore-offshore model and collaborates with enterprise architecture and product stakeholders to deliver resilient, scalable solutions.
Required eight years of architecture and development experience with JAVA, Node, Python, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure), plus skills in SSO, AI/ML,
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, or related field (will accept foreign education equivalent) and eight (8) years of experience in architecture and development.
- Experience with Python, Java, Node, and cloud technologies like AWS or Azure; DevOps practices.
- Experience with Integration patterns and SSO and multi-site onshore-offshore teams.
Responsibilities
- Architect and lead development of Group Insurance applications using cloud technologies.
- Modernize a monolithic JAVA/COBOL/CICS/VSAM/DB2 app into Java/Microservices/Micro-frontend on cloud.
- Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture to align with strategy and guardrails.
- Drive test automation and support end-to-end and UAT testing with offshore teams.
