Job summary

Enterprise Engineering seeks a seasoned Full Stack Senior Java/Angular SME to design and evolve large-scale Angular applications powering trading, analytics, and AI platforms in investment banking and global markets.

You will work with UI/UX, product owners, and back-end engineers on modern front-end stacks using Angular, TypeScript, RxJS, and allied tooling. Onsite at NYC, 3 days/week; long-term consulting engagement with senior leadership guidance.

Qualifications

• 10 years of professional experience developing web applications using Angular (v19 preferred).
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript, RxJS, HTML5, CSS3 (Tailwind/SCSS optional).
• Experience in large enterprise or financial systems development.
• Familiarity with REST and GraphQL APIs, authentication flows, and secure coding.
• Experience with unit and integration testing (Jest, Playwright).
• Ability to collaborate in agile, cross-functional teams.
• Must have worked in a Java environment and in investment banking/global markets.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop complex modular Angular applications with performance and testability in mind.
• Collaborate with architects on structure, state management, and integration patterns.
• Leverage RxJS, GraphQL, Angular CDK, and modern build tooling (Nx, Vite, ESBuild).
• Partner with UX teams to deliver clean, accessible interfaces for high-volume data apps.
• Contribute to code reviews, architectural discussions, and technical design sessions.
• Mentor junior developers and promote best practices and craftsmanship.
• Champion tooling enhancements, CI/CD pipelines, and frontend standards.
