Job summary

Google TV Server team is seeking a Senior Software Engineer who will architect and build end-to-end full-stack features for the Google TV platform, including Android client components and backend services.

You will drive scalable solutions, mentor engineers, and collaborate across teams to integrate Generative AI capabilities while maintaining performance and reliability on devices worldwide.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of software development with Java/Kotlin or equivalent.
• 3 years testing, maintaining, or launching software; 1 year design/architecture.
• 3 years Android app development.
• 2 years in full-stack development.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement features end-to-end, leveraging Android client and server components.
• Build and scale server components for Google TV, optimizing performance and health.
• Drive AI Experience platform integration, Gemini feature integration and TPU optimization.
• Uphold architectural standards and engineering best practices via design and code reviews.
• Mentor other engineers and make high‑quality technical decisions.
