Job summary

Respawn Entertainment in Los Angeles area is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer, AI and Tools, to design, build, and optimize tooling for the Apex Legends ecosystem and explore AI automation-driven workflow integrations within the tools.

You will report to the Lead Developer of Shared Tools and collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to deliver extendable tools for content creation, with a focus on performance, scalability, and robustness in a live game environment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years building scalable online applications
• Experience with AI tooling and models integration
• Experience with large shared codebases and microservices
• Strong understanding of CS foundations
• Familiarity with AI orchestration frameworks and vector databases
• Experience with cloud services (AWS/Azure/GCP)

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain tools and pipelines for a live game
• Identify opportunities for AI tool integrations and architecture
• Connect models to internal tools, APIs, and databases
• Own multi-disciplinary initiatives from design to release
• Optimize memory, CPU, and performance of tools
• Debug and resolve issues in a large codebase
• Integrate platform technologies into game engine
• Collaborate with content teams on feature development
• Mentor developers through code reviews and guidance
