Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer to join our Digital Solutions team. You will work on modern applications that combine sensor/IoT data, geospatial tech, ML, and AI-powered agents to solve real‑world engineering and environmental challenges.

You will design and build frontend and backend systems using React, C#/.NET, and TypeScript; develop REST/GraphQL APIs; and contribute to AI features, RAG workflows, and agent orchestration.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and developing full stack web applications.
• Proficiency with modern front-end frameworks (e.g., React).
• Backend development using C#/.NET and JavaScript/TypeScript (Node.js, Next.js, Express).
• Experience with geospatial technologies (ESRI, PostGIS, Mapbox).
• Knowledge of AI-driven features, RAG patterns, and agent orchestration.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable frontend and back-end applications.
• Build and optimize REST, GraphQL, and other APIs for high performance.
• Contribute to AI-enabled features, agent-based workflows, and RAG strategies.
• Develop automated tests and deploy via CI/CD pipelines; collaborate with DevOps.
• Mentor junior developers and participate in code reviews.
