Job summary

Circle is seeking a strong full-stack engineer to help build AI-powered features across the platform, with Rails backend and React frontend. You'll work on AI agents, Retrieval-Augmented Generation, and infrastructure for LLM inference, focusing on hands-on AI capabilities and a strong experimentation mindset to rapidly test ideas and iterate on production use cases.

Qualifications

6+ years experience as a full-stack engineer on high-traffic production applications.
Proficiency in Ruby on Rails, MySQL/PostgreSQL, and ReactJS.
Hands-on experience building AI features in production (RAG systems, AI agents, or LLM-powered tools).
Strong experimentation mindset with experience in designing and running A/B tests.
Proficient English at CEFR C2 / ILR 5.

Responsibilities

Ship full-stack AI projects end-to-end on a product built with Ruby on Rails backend and React frontend.
Design and run experiments (A/B tests, AI evaluations) to validate features and guide iteration.
Build and integrate AI infrastructure components and optimize for production-level inference.
Improve processes, tools, and systems to scale AI features into production-ready solutions.
Stay up-to-date with cutting-edge AI research and tools.
Collaborate with Circle's leaders and designers throughout the feature design process.
Prioritize speed of iteration while maintaining code quality and user experience.
