Job summary

CACI is seeking a Senior Full Stack AI Developer to advance national security by building AI-powered web applications for the DHS AI/ET initiative. The role blends hands-on coding (about 80%) across backend Python and front-end React/TypeScript with modern API design, CI/CD, and cloud hosting on Azure/AWS.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain DHS EOD
• Bachelor's degree with 15 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with fewer years
• Ability to analyze technically complex problems and implement innovative solutions
• Full Stack development across front-end (React, Typescript, CSS) and back-end (Python)
• Experience with prompt engineering and working with LLMs
• Experience with multiple software languages including JavaScript/TypeScript, YAML, JSON
• Cloud experience with Azure or AWS, preferably Azure
• Experience developing and integrating APIs, RESTful services, and authentication methods

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain AI-focused full-stack applications
• Build, integrate, and deploy ML/AI models including LLMs via RAG pipelines
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and backend services/APIs
• Collaborate with data scientists to integrate AI models into apps
• Develop and maintain AI-enabled features within web applications
• Participate in agile ceremonies, release planning, and sprint demos
• Stay current with AI technologies and best practices
