Job summary

Pramira is seeking a Senior Project Manager in Brea, CA to lead complex telecommunications construction programs. You will own delivery plans across multiple markets, manage budgets and schedules, and coordinate teams across underground, HDD, and aerial work.

You will negotiate changes, ensure compliance with safety standards, and drive on-time project completions while maintaining high quality and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• At least 7 years of telecommunications or utility construction project management experience, including 3 years leading concurrent FTTH builds or construction across multiple markets.
• Direct general contractor or utility contractor experience with responsibility for project financial performance, self-perform operations, subcontractors, change orders, and customer delivery.
• Demonstrated delivery experience across microtrenching, directional boring, and aerial OSP construction; ability to challenge assumptions about production, restoration, cost, and installation quality.
• Experience mobilizing teams across jurisdictions and managing municipal permits, rights-of-way, utility conflicts, and pole-owner coordination.
• Strong customer communication, negotiation, team leadership, and financial forecasting skills. Proficiency with Excel, scheduling tools, and construction reporting systems.
• Working knowledge of safety and construction standards, Cal/OSHA and CPUC GO 95/GO 128 for CA, and other states.

Responsibilities

• Build integrated delivery plans across assigned markets from award through final acceptance.
• Own budgets, forecasts, cost-to-complete estimates, and billing readiness; review performance with operations and finance.
• Direct teams delivering underground microtrenching, HDD, or aerial construction; assess constructability and costs.
• Establish quality controls for placement and restoration; ensure records and clearances are compliant.
• Allocate resources, qualify trade partners, and manage scope and unit rates.
• Lead customer delivery reviews, negotiate scope changes, and resolve commercial issues.
