Job summary

LaSalle Network is seeking a Senior Manager of Food Safety & Quality to guide quality, safety, and regulatory compliance for a new manufacturing site in Orangeburg, SC. You will build the QA systems, lead a growing team, and partner with operations to embed quality on the floor.

You will influence cross-functional leaders, conduct root-cause investigations, and drive CAPA/continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment as the plant scales toward full production.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Engineering, Microbiology, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• 10+ years progressive manufacturing quality leadership in food or consumer goods.
• Minimum 5 years plant-level quality management experience.
• Strong expertise in GMPs, HACCP, sanitation, environmental monitoring, SPC, process controls.
• Deep knowledge of FDA, FSMA, GFSI standards, regulatory compliance and customer quality.
• Proven ability to build and lead teams and develop technical capability.

Responsibilities

• Lead quality and food safety for the Orangeburg facility as a Site Leadership Team member.
• Oversee quality from raw materials to finished product release on the production floor.
• Maintain hands-on presence to coach, verify standards, and address issues in real time.
• Establish quality culture and clear escalation with sustainable corrective actions.
• Own product holds, risk assessments, and dispositions for the site.
• Drive RCCA/CAPA and continuous improvement across operations with cross-functional partners.
• Lead internal audits, regulatory inspections, and customer/ corporate assessments.
• Develop and maintain QA systems, processes, and controls for a new plant.
