Job summary

McCain Foods USA, Easton, Maine, is seeking a Senior Food Safety and Quality Supervisor to lead sanitation, GMP, and hygiene programs. You will direct sanitation, SSOP development, and HACCP efforts across the factory, ensuring a robust Food Safety Management System and continuous improvement.

The role requires a BS in microbiology/food science and at least 4 years in food plant sanitation or related supervisory experience, with knowledge of FSMA, HACCP, 5S and SSOP writing.

Qualifications

• Requires a BS degree in Microbiology, Food Science/Technology, or related field.
• Minimum 4 years in food plant sanitation or supervisory experience.
• Knowledge of FSMA, HACCP, 5S, GMP and SSOP writing.
• Desirable AIB/ASI or pest control training.

Responsibilities

• Ensure sanitation programs are implemented, validated, and maintained in a sanitary environment.
• Develop and validate SSOPs for sanitation and allergen management.
• Lead HACCP and Food Safety teams; identify hazards and controls.
• Lead root cause analyses for hygiene-related events.
• Oversee audits and ensure compliance with AIB & BRC.
• Support product innovation and ingredient changes with QA.
