Job summary

Uniswap Labs is seeking a senior frontend engineer for the Apps Infra team in New York. You will own and evolve shared frontend infrastructure, design systems, UI libraries, and data-fetching layers across web and mobile, while contributing to product and design engineering with a strong focus on developer experience.

You’ll lead large migrations, build AI-powered internal tools, and mentor engineers, delivering high-quality code and thoughtful architecture docs that raise the bar for PR reviews

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience.
• Deep experience with both React and React Native; across web and mobile from a single codebase.
• Strong track record building developer tooling, design systems, or shared infrastructure with a product sensibility.
• Opinions on frontend architecture, styling systems, data-fetching patterns, and build tooling.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve Uniswap's shared frontend infrastructure — design systems, UI component libraries, data-fetching layers (React Query), and notification systems — across web and mobile
• Contribute to product and design engineering work, keeping the team connected to user experience
• Build and contribute to AI-powered internal tools and automations (changelog builders, cherry-pick automations, CLI tools, LLM workflows)
• Lead large-scale migrations (e.g., Tamagui to Tailwind) with clear tooling choices and a reusable plan
• Build and improve release automation, CI/CD pipelines, and QA tooling to increase reliability and velocity
• Drive performance improvements across all apps
• Maintain backend-for-frontend services that support multiple product teams
• Produce high-quality, well-tested code and architecture docs; lead PR reviews
• Mentor engineers through code review, documentation, and best-practices
