Job summary

General Motors is hiring a Sr Web Software Engineer to lead the web frontend of GM Commercial Software. You will work across GM's commercial software products to build scalable, user-centered web applications using React and Redux.

You will collaborate with product, design, and other engineering teams, mentor junior engineers, and explore new technologies to raise quality and velocity while upholding high engineering standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on web application development.
• Strong experience with React, Redux, and design systems.
• Experience writing unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
• Produce high-quality production code with documentation and observability.
• Able to work in an agile environment and communicate effectively.
• Experience leading features through the development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product to implement responsive, visually appealing functionality using React.
• Ensure usability and accessibility of web applications for a wide range of users.
