Job summary

X4 Life Sciences is seeking a Senior Full-Stack Engineer (Frontend-Focused) to own complex client-side experiences in a remote-first team. You'll work on a modern, multi-tenant case management and patient engagement platform used by clinical and operations teams.

You'll build in Vue 3 with Quasar and TypeScript, integrate GraphQL APIs with Apollo Client, and contribute to Node.js back-end services when needed.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional frontend or full-stack software engineering experience.
• Experience building production apps with Vue, React, or Angular.
• Excellent TypeScript skills with maintainable, type-safe code.
• Experience consuming GraphQL APIs (Apollo Client) and/or REST APIs.
• Strong state management knowledge (Pinia/Vuex/Redux) and modern tooling.
• Backend familiarity with Node.js, GraphQL, Prisma, and PostgreSQL.
• Ability to own features end-to-end and lead in remote teams.

Responsibilities

• Own significant frontend features from design through production in Vue 3 + Quasar + TS.
• Build complex, data-rich UIs including forms, scheduling, dashboards and payments.
• Design and consume GraphQL APIs with Apollo Client; manage caching and updates.
• Contribute to backend services (GraphQL resolvers, Prisma-backed) as needed.
• Drive frontend architecture, state management, performance and type safety.
• Champion accessibility, responsive design and a cohesive design system.
• Write and maintain automated tests with Vitest and Vue Test Utils.
• Collaborate with Product, Design and Engineering in a remote, async environment.
• Mentor engineers, conduct code reviews, and contribute to technical leadership.
