Job summary

Chamberlain Group in Oak Brook, IL, is seeking a software engineer to develop software using Agile methodologies and Scrum. You will serve as the primary point person for interactions with product owner, front end, middleware, DevOps, and firmware teams.

You will analyze requirements, design features, mentor junior engineers, lead offshore teams, and ensure ISO 27001 security compliance. Teleworking is permitted and collaboration with UI/UX, Infrastructure, and Data teams is encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Develop software using Agile methodologies, such as Scrum.
• Serve as primary point person and scrum team representative for interactions with product owner, front end, middleware, DevOps, and firmware teams.
• Participate in technical assessment, scoping and management of changes to the code-base on new business requirements and product enhancements.
• Analyze requirements and collaborate with architects to design software of moderate scope and complexity.
• Lead offshore teams to design and develop features and burn down technical debt.
• Provide mentoring and coaching to junior engineers to increase software capability.
• Maintain security compliance with ISO 27001 and security requirements from Information Security.
• Teleworking is permitted.
