Job summary

Okendo is seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer to build the customer marketing platform used by 16,000+ Shopify brands. You will work across Vue, Angular, and React codebases, from embeddable widgets to merchant admin tools, on a fully remote team with a TypeScript-first stack on a modern AWS serverless architecture.

You will contribute across frontend surfaces, design and implement features, and mentor peers while driving high-quality, scalable UI solutions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional frontend experience.
• Strong hands-on with at least one modern framework (Vue, Angular, or React) and ability to ramp across others.
• Deep proficiency in TypeScript and modern JavaScript.
• Track record of shipping high-quality, tested frontend code in a team.
• Comfort with a full serverless stack on AWS.

Responsibilities

• Build and ship frontend features across Vue-based embeddable widgets, Angular merchant admin tools, and React Shopify integrations.
• Collaborate with product, design, and backend engineers to design and implement solutions.
• Write clean, well-tested TypeScript code and maintain high standards.
