Job summary

Ladders is seeking a Senior Software Developer (Front End), Trading, to build client-facing trading experiences in a high-stakes financial environment. This role owns frontend projects end to end, partnering with Product and Design to deliver reliable, scalable interfaces for order entry and execution.

Remote from the US, candidates should bring 5+ years of frontend engineering, React/TypeScript expertise, and leadership mindset to mentor teammates and shape architecture while balancing speed

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with production-grade systems.
• React and TypeScript frontend expertise; React Native is a plus.
• Experience with AI-centric development workflows.
• Strong product judgment and maker-owner mindset.
• Technical leadership and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Own complex, end-to-end frontend projects for trading experiences.
• Build and enhance client-facing surfaces for order flow and trading products.
• Work on high-stakes client journeys such as order entry and execution.
• Make architectural decisions that balance speed, quality, and scale.
• Collaborate with Product and Design to clarify goals and deliver outcomes.
• Ensure reliability and observability across trading journeys.
• Leverage AI tools to improve development speed and safety.
• Raise the technical bar through mentorship and code reviews.
