Job summary

Talanto in San Mateo, CA is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the Sharing team and help power Moments. You will build high-performance content creation, sharing, and consumption experiences across the stack—from client flows to backend systems serving billions of items daily.

Collaborate with product and engineering teams to define architecture, improve reliability, and drive engagement and content growth.

Qualifications

5+ years building production frontend or client applications.
Deep hands-on React experience: hooks, component composition, render performance, and state management at scale.
Experience integrating with backend services over REST or GraphQL, and designing client data flows.
Curiosity about learning Luau and working across languages.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

Design and build engaging, high-performance content creation/sharing and consumption experiences across Moments.
Own projects end to end from design to launch and iteration, driving engagement and content quality.
Collaborate with engineers across product, safety, and infrastructure to define scalable solutions.
Identify performance gaps and lead improvements in testing and experimentation workflows.
Uphold high standards of technical quality and user experience while iterating on new features.
Contribute to a strong, inclusive team culture by mentoring peers and supporting success.
