Job summary

Affirm is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for Marketing & Privacy Engineering (MPE) to own and evolve high-traffic web experiences. You will architect and ship features using React or Vue, with Javascript/Typescript, and work across GTM, analytics, experimentation platforms, and marketing APIs to measure impact while protecting privacy.

You will partner with Product, Marketing, Analytics and Data Engineering to deliver reliable, observable systems.

Qualifications

• Experience with declarative UI frameworks (React or Vue).
• Proficiency in Javascript/Typescript.
• Hands-on with web instrumentation and marketing tech (GTM, analytics, experimentation).
• Knowledge of consent, cookies, tagging and observability in web apps.

Responsibilities

• Own quarterly team goals and guide engineers through ambiguity.
• Collaborate with product, design and analytics in ideation and decision-making.
• Proactively identify and solve project, process or tech issues.
• Maintain metrics and on-call readiness to keep services healthy.
• Set and extend code review and design standards across teams.
• Mentor teammates and foster ownership and growth.
