Job summary

Marchex is seeking a UI Engineer to join our Engineering team. This fully remote role in the USA focuses on building modern web apps and APIs using Angular, TypeScript, and .NET backend services.

You will work in a collaborative, agile environment on cloud-native products with CI/CD pipelines and observability. Required: 3+ years in software design, strong frontend skills with Angular or modern frameworks, and experience with REST, SQL/NoSQL, and Azure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, engineering or related field or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of software design and development experience.
• Strong frontend experience with Angular; React/Vue/Next/Nuxt acceptable.
• Solid frontend architecture, state management and responsive UI skills.
• Backend development with C#/.NET, Azure experience a plus.
• Experience with REST APIs, API gateways, SQL/NoSQL and cloud services.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, troubleshoot, and operate modern web apps and APIs.
• Build intuitive, performant UI with Angular, TS, HTML, CSS.
• Support cloud-native apps, data integrations, and services; Azure ok.
• Work with CI/CD, IaC, observability tools, and deployments.
• Collaborate across product, UX, engineering, and management teams.
