Job summary

Berlitz is hiring a Senior Frontend Engineer to shape a greenfield web client for a global online learning platform. You will design features in React and TypeScript, own end-to-end release, and collaborate across teams to deliver accessible, high-performance experiences for learners, teachers, staff, and enterprise users.

Responsibilities

• Design and build features in React and TypeScript, from screens to routing and state management within a shared TS layer.
• Build for four audiences in one app with a shared design system.
• Utilize React/TypeScript and contribute to the design-system package.
• Co-design and modify backend API contracts when needed.
• Own the path from code to production: build config, bundling, environment promotion, release.
• Own performance and accessibility measurements across the product.
• Integrate and consume the platform CI/CD pipeline (GitHub Actions).
• Integrate Claude Code into daily workflow to improve quality and speed.
• Apply best practices for type safety, testing, and accessibility.
