Job summary

The Bitcoin Street Journal is hiring a senior frontend engineer to own the JTX trading app surface across web and mobile, partnering with design, product, and infra to build a durable product architecture. You’ll focus on real-time market data, charts, and wallet flows to deliver a fast, reliable user experience.

Stack includes React 19 + TypeScript on Next.js, Jotai, TanStack Query, Tailwind, and TradingView charts with WebSockets.

Qualifications

• 5+ years building production frontend, including real-time or data-dense interfaces.
• Strong React and TypeScript proficiency; able to explain re-renders and fixes.
• Experience with mobile platforms or React Native is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own the JTX client across web and mobile, including UI for order entry, charts, and wallets.
• Ship real-time trading interfaces with low latency and strong data freshness.
• Make architectural decisions that scale with user growth and volume.
• Collaborate with design, product, and infrastructure to deliver a cohesive product.
