Job summary

A technology company is seeking a web developer to build scalable web applications using React and TypeScript, with preferred experience in Next.js. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing real-time UI patterns and developing reusable components. Strong proficiency in JavaScript, performance optimization, and the ability to work independently are essential. This role emphasizes collaboration with backend engineers and designers to ensure a seamless user experience.

Responsibilities

• Build scalable web applications using React (Next.js preferred) and TypeScript.
• Implement real-time UI patterns (WebSockets / SSE / efficient polling).
• Develop reusable components for charts, tables, filters, rankings, and timelines.
• Optimize performance for frequently updating datasets and large tables.
• Collaborate with backend engineers to define API contracts and pagination/filtering strategies.
• Work with designers to implement and evolve a design system.
• Handle loading, caching, and error states gracefully.
• Ensure accessibility, responsiveness, and cross-browser compatibility.
• Write maintainable, well-tested code and participate in code reviews.

Skills

Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript

Solid experience with React and modern frontend tooling

Experience building dashboard or data-heavy UIs

Experience integrating REST APIs and managing client-side state

Understanding of performance optimization (memoization, virtualization, lazy loading)

Familiarity with CSS frameworks or design systems (Tailwind, CSS Modules, etc.)

Ability to work independently and own features end-to-end
