Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience building production web applications with TypeScript and React.
• Strong understanding of modern frontend architecture, state management, and component design patterns.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of complex product features, taking ownership from problem definition through delivery, without needing heavy direction.
• Identify bottlenecks and build solutions that help us move faster, using first-principles thinking combined with practical judgment about what matters most.
• Own problems end-to-end, thinking through everything from user experience, component architecture, performance, and accessibility—digging deep to understand root causes and optimize for real-world outcomes.
• Build polished, responsive interfaces that translate complex insurance workflows into intuitive user experiences.
• Iterate on existing features to a high degree of excellence based on user feedback and product metrics.
• Mentor and coach other engineers on the team.
