Qualifications

• 5+ years building production frontend applications with complex interactive products
• Deep expertise in React and Next.js including server components and app routing
• Strong TypeScript skills for robust component APIs and type safety
• Independent frontend architecture ownership across state management and rendering
• Experience building or evolving a design system or component library
• Mentored engineers through code reviews and architecture guidance
• Depth in performance optimization: bundle analysis and Core Web Vitals
• Willingness to work across the stack when needed to unblock frontend delivery

Responsibilities

• Own frontend architecture end-to-end including rendering strategy and state management
• Define and evolve frontend standards and coding conventions for the team
• Mentor and coach junior engineers through reviews and pair programming
• Lead client-facing technical conversations translating UI needs into architecture plans
• Build and own complex interfaces like data-heavy dashboards and real-time UIs
• Translate designs into production UI and advocate for viable production solutions
• Step across the stack when required to fix backend issues impacting frontend work
