Job summary

Pebl seeks a senior frontend engineer to elevate our domain’s user experience across payroll and invoicing dashboards. You’ll collaborate with product and design to turn complex bank forms into intuitive interfaces and build reliable frontend code that scales with our backend.

Required: deep React/TypeScript expertise, API integration, and a track record translating wireframes into reusable, scalable UI components. In-office collaboration Monday-Wednesday in Palo Alto, CA.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional frontend/UX software engineering experience.
• Experience building frontends and API frameworks for invoicing or financial systems, or 2+ years in a domain with complex forms and dashboards.
• Strong command of modern frontend (React/TypeScript) and API integration.
• Knowledge of frontend design patterns and ability to drive best practices.
• Experience collaborating with designers and product managers to translate wireframes into reusable frontend code.

Responsibilities

• Design and build features enabling users to engage with their paycheck through various financial means.
• Enhance the UX for providing financial information and interacting with monetary accounts.
• Integrate with 3rd party payment vendors to extend Pebl's pay capabilities.
• Improve the richness of invoice data and insights for customers.
• Establish frontend best practices for the invoices/payments domain with clean, reusable code.
• Be the frontend expert within a primarily fullstack/backend team.
