Job summary

BigPay is seeking a Frontend Engineer (React) to build secure, high-performancepayment experiences for customers worldwide. You will work with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to deliver scalable web applications in a fast-paced fintech environment.

You will emphasize code quality, accessibility, and maintainable UI components, leveraging React, TypeScript, Next.js, Vite, Tailwind CSS, and modern tooling to create reusable design systems.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional frontend engineering experience building production web applications.
• Strong proficiency in React, TypeScript, and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
• Hands-on experience with React Query, Redux, or similar state management solutions.
• Experience building scalable, maintainable UI component libraries or design systems.
• Solid understanding of frontend performance optimization, responsive design, and browser rendering.
• Experience integrating RESTful APIs and collaborating with backend services.
• Familiarity with Next.js, Vite, Webpack, Tailwind CSS, or equivalent tooling.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.

Responsibilities

• Build high-performance, scalable, and user-centric web applications using React and TypeScript.
• Develop intuitive payment experiences for desktop and mobile web.
• Design reusable UI components and contribute to frontend libraries.
• Collaborate with backend engineers, product managers, designers, and QA to deliver features.
• Optimize application performance with code splitting, lazy loading, caching, and rendering optimizations.
• Drive engineering best practices including code quality, testing, accessibility, and frontend architecture.
• Participate in technical discussions, design reviews, and evolution of the frontend platform.
