Ladders is seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer I - eCommerce to join a leader in healthcare, building a high-performing, accessible booking and checkout experience for a transactional journey. You will partner with Product and Marketing to ship experiments, improve funnel performance, and influence frontend architecture with React, Next.js, and TypeScript for a remote US team.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of frontend engineering experience, with 3+ years in React and TypeScript.
• Strong experience with Next.js or similar React frameworks, including server-side rendering and routing.
• Deep understanding of semantic HTML and modern CSS.
• Experience with data-fetching and state management patterns such as TanStack Query and Zustand.
• Strong testing practices using tools such as Vitest, Testing Library, and Playwright.
• Experience building transactional flows, particularly in checkout and payment systems.
• Familiarity with WCAG 2.1 AA and Core Web Vitals standards.

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer I - eCommerce to join the team of a leader in the Healthcare space.

This role will focus on delivering a high-performing, accessible booking and checkout experience that supports customer conversion in a healthcare setting. You will partner closely with Product and Marketing to ship experiments, improve funnel performance, and help shape the frontend architecture behind a high-traffic transactional journey.

The ideal candidate brings deep experience with modern React development and a strong eye for usability, performance, and technical quality. This is an opportunity to build customer-facing experiences that directly influence how people engage with preventative healthcare services.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $145,000 - $170,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Own features within the booking experience, including checkout and payments

Qualifications

• Experience with data-fetching and state management patterns such as TanStack Query and Zustand
• Strong testing practices using tools such as Vitest, Testing Library, and Playwright
• Experience building transactional flows, particularly in checkout and payment systems
• Familiarity with web accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1 AA) and performance metrics (Core Web Vitals)
