Job summary

Publix is seeking a Sr Frontend Software Engineer to join Publix.com. You will design and develop features using JavaScript, React.js, Vue.js, HTML, CSS, C#, and Sitecore CMS as part of an agile team.

Location is Hybrid (Lakeland, FL) with a mix of in-person and remote collaboration. The role emphasizes building scalable user interfaces and contributing to AI-enabled projects while maintaining high-quality code and documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• 5+ years designing, developing, and supporting customer-facing, e-commerce websites and APIs.
• 1+ years experience with Agile software development processes and Scrum.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain web solutions using Node.js, Next.js, React, and Sitecore CMS.
• Participate in agile scrum events.
• Participate in architecture and design discussions with cross-functional team members.
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback.
• Unit test code and ensure high quality.
• When called upon, lead engineering initiatives.
• Maintain, improve, and document systems.
• Provide after-hours support for systems.

Education
