JPMorgan Chase & Co. is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (Frontend) in Plano to design, build, and maintain scalable UI components within a modern design system.

You will collaborate with designers and engineers to translate design specs into production-ready components that power consumer banking experiences. You will apply advanced CSS techniques, accessibility standards, and AI-assisted development tools to accelerate delivery while ensuring performance, security, and quality across

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of applied software engineering experience.
• Proficiency in modern front-end development including component architecture, state management, and responsive UI implementation.
• Strong command of CSS and modern styling approaches such as preprocessors and CSS-in-JS.
• Experience building accessible components to WCAG standards with semantic HTML and ARIA roles.
• Practical experience using AI-assisted development tools to enhance productivity, quality, and delivery speed.
• Demonstrated ability to learn and adopt new tools and workflows in a rapidly evolving AI-augmented landscape.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies such as SCRUM.
• Proficiency in automation and CD methods and understanding of SDLC.

Responsibilities

• Executes creative software solutions across component design, development, and technical troubleshooting.
• Develops secure, high-quality production code for reusable UI components; reviews code for accessibility and quality.
• Builds and maintains composable, accessible front-end components with performance and design-system alignment.
• Leverages AI-assisted development tools to accelerate delivery, code review, testing, and documentation.
• Identifies opportunities to automate remediation of recurring issues to improve stability.
• Champions communities of practice to drive adoption of new technologies across engineering.
