Job summary

Reddit is seeking a talented Frontend Engineer to join our team. You’ll build and enhance products, developing features from end to end, ensuring our systems are scalable, reliable, and serve community builder needs.

You’ll work with product managers, designers, data scientists, and other engineers to deliver high-quality products, owning features from design to deployment and mentoring others in fast-paced environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a quantitative or computer science-related field, or equivalent experience.
• 6+ years of software development experience in frontend languages (JavaScript, TypeScript, ES6).
• Experience with frontend frameworks (React, Vue, Angular, etc.) and CSS.
• Experience with API design (GraphQL/REST).
• End-to-end ownership from design to deployment.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain user facing product features with performance, security, and scalability.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, data scientists and other engineers to deliver high-quality products.
• Contribute to the full development cycle: design, development, test, experimentation, analysis, and launch.
• Set and define standards that improve developer workflows and mentor engineers.
• Continuously learn and improve technical and non-technical abilities.
