Job summary

Adobe is seeking an experienced software engineer to drive AI-augmented web engineering and deliver AI-powered experiences for users in New York. You will work with cutting-edge browser tech, Web Components, and collaborate across research and product teams to refine AI and LLM capabilities.

You will contribute to architectural decisions, write clean, testable code, and participate in design reviews. A strong background in TypeScript, AI coding tools, and large modular codebases is essential.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's in CS or equivalent.
8+ years of experience developing modern web applications.
Experience building large, performance-conscious, interactive web applications.
Experience with TypeScript.
Experience with Generative AI and LLMs.
Experience with AI Coding Tools.
Experience working with large, modular products and codebases.

Responsibilities

Drive the cultural and technical shift toward AI‑augmented engineering, empowering peers to work smarter and ship faster.
Transform development patterns and deliver new experiences to users by employing AI tools.
Translate new browser technologies into real value for users.
Work with modern Web technologies such as Web Components to create portable, reusable UI.
Work with research and other engineering teams to integrate and refine AI and LLM experiences.
Help shape architectural and product design details when tasks or specifications are open‑ended.
Collaborate with teammates across all functional disciplines to ensure quality in all phases of development.
Write beautiful, self‑documenting code that others can easily read and adapt.
Write and review engineering documents, review design specs and participate in regular code reviews.
