Job summary

Blitzy, a Cambridge, MA based AI software platform, is seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer to lead hands-on development of our AI-powered interface. You will work with product and design to build responsive, accessible UIs and guide frontend strategy.

You will write high-quality code, own frontend architecture, collaborate with backend to design APIs, and mentor two frontend engineers. Strong React and JS/TS expertise required.

Qualifications

• 10+ years frontend development experience.
• Expert in JavaScript/TypeScript and React ecosystem.
• Experience with state management, build tools, and testing.

Responsibilities

• Spend majority of time (70%+) writing high-quality code and solving complex technical challenges.
• Architect and implement sophisticated frontend solutions with complex state management and real-time updates.
• Own frontend architecture and technical decision-making for long-term scalability.
• Create responsive, performant interfaces across devices and browsers.
• Collaborate with designers to implement pixel-perfect UIs and evolve the component library.
• Maintain high standards for code quality, performance, testing, and best practices.
• Lead code reviews and establish frontend engineering standards; mentor two frontend engineers.
• Evaluate and introduce new technologies to strengthen workflow and product quality.
• Partner with backend to design APIs enabling rich frontend functionality.
• Own the core product interface and user experience from a frontend perspective.
